| Biography: | Dr Damian Castanelliis a Paediatric Anaesthetist and Supervisor of Training at Monash Medical Centre, Melbourne, and is the ANZCA Education Officer for Victoria. He trained at Monash and completed a Masters in Clinical Education at University of New South Wales. Within ANZCA, he was an examiner for the Final Fellowship Examination, and is currently Chair of the Education Development & Evaluation Committee. Damian has developed teaching programs for epidural insertion and communication skills, has been involved in the development of the ANZCA curriculum and workplace-based assessments, and has published in multiple areas of medical education including technical skills teaching, the learning environment, and workplace-based assessment. |
