| Biography: | Associate Professor Victoria Eley is the Research Lead Anaesthetist at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and provides clinical services in adult and obstetric anaesthesia. She qualified as FANZCA in 2007, winning the Cecil Gray Prize for the final examination. She conducts research in collaboration with obstetricians, intensivists, obstetric physicians and neonatologists. She is current Chair of the Obstetric Anaesthesia Special Interest Group and completed her PhD on the anaesthetic management of obese pregnant women. She supervises trainees and colleagues in quality assurance, research projects and higher research degrees. |
