In keeping with the global trend, the modern clinician has an information overload problem. How does a clinician maintain currency? How does one stay abreast of the changing evidence base in the pursuit of up-to-date clinical practice? The skill required to answer a clinical question through a comprehensive literature search and critical analysis of relevant literature is well-appreciated in modern medical practice, but how does a clinician ensure they are broadly maintaining their expertise regarding established practice or the adoption of practice-changing advancements? This problem is exacerbated by the enormous volume of accumulated medical literature, the rate of new literature created, its varying quality, and the multitude of sources presenting information to be filtered. To address this problem, we have developed and launched a curated, online, open-access, living compendium of anaesthesia core clinical practice guidelines.en_US
